Terms of Service
Effective October 28, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of massage-eugene.com, our online booking, our text messaging program, and the massage therapy services provided by Movement Improvement LLC, doing business as Movement Improvement Massage (“Movement Improvement,” “we,” “us”). By using our website, booking an appointment, or opting in to our messages, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our services
Movement Improvement provides therapeutic massage by a licensed massage therapist in Oregon. Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment, and we do not diagnose conditions or prescribe medication. Please consult your physician about any medical condition and tell us about your health history, medications, injuries, pregnancy, and any changes before each session. You may ask us to adjust or stop a session at any time, and we may decline or end a session if continuing would be unsafe or inappropriate.
2. Appointments and cancellations
Appointments can be booked online or by phone. Our current cancellation, late-arrival, and no-show policy is shown when you book and may include fees for late cancellations or missed appointments. Arriving late may shorten your session.
3. Payments, packages, and insurance
- Payment is due at the time of service unless we have agreed to bill an insurance carrier or claim on your behalf.
- Prices and session packages are listed on our website and booking system and may change. Package terms, including expiration dates, are shown at the time of purchase.
- We work with Oregon personal injury protection (PIP) and workers’ compensation claims. Verifying benefits does not guarantee coverage or payment. If a claim is denied or a service is not covered, you may be responsible for payment, except where Oregon law prohibits billing you.
4. Text messaging terms (SMS/RCS)
Program description. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Movement Improvement Massage by SMS, MMS, or RCS. Messages may include appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling and rescheduling updates, intake and insurance-verification follow-ups, and responses to your inquiries. If you separately opt in to marketing messages, you may also receive occasional offers and updates.
- Message frequency varies based on your appointments and interactions with us.
- Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.
- To opt out, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.
- For help, reply HELP or contact us at (541) 514-4819 or [email protected].
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive text messages to book or buy any service.
- Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We do not share your mobile number or text messaging opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.
